We all know you can get paid to recycle bottles and cans if you have enough space and free time to drag them to wherever it is they will pay for them. One thing I just found out about is that there are companies getting started that are going to pay you for the big wheeled bin recycling that you may already be doing! Here’s the scoop:
It works just like regular recycling in many areas, you have your big wheeled bin for paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass, ect. You sign up for the service and they put a bar code on your recycling bin. When they come to empty your recycling they scan the barcode and weigh the bin as it is being dumped. The information is then uploaded to their website where you earn points for what you recycle. The points can be traded in for rewards with participating retailers in your area or online. Petco, Dick’s sporting goods, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target are just a few of the early adopters that are supporting this great program and more will be sure to follow!
Early testing in households that started this program showed their recycling jump from around 5lbs a week to 35lbs a week! It looks like the program is working, interested in getting involved?
Check to see if you can get paid to recycle in your area. If the program isn’t in your area yet they even have a downloadable .pfd letter that you can customize and send to your city officials about your interest in the program.

A Treehugger report claims that solar panels may not be as environmentally-friendly as was initially thought given the potential for waste generated from the life-cycle of a solar panel. The article discusses the early development of a recycling plan as a plausible solution.

Thanks for the tips you have discussed here. Something else I would like to mention is that laptop memory demands generally rise along with other advances in the engineering. For instance, if new generations of cpus are made in the market, there is usually a similar increase in the type calls for of both computer system memory and hard drive space. This is because the program operated by way of these processor chips will inevitably boost in power to benefit from the new know-how.
