Invest In Yourself

Posted on 23 July 2009 by Brad

Making smart choices in investments is one of the quickest ways to wealth. Investing wisely isn’t easy and it doesn’t just happen without any effort. Education is your most valuable tool in life. Learning about opportunities, researching companies, and reading financial statements are all good ways to educate yourself and make educated decisions. The only problem is that it is pretty dry reading and not that much fun. What if there was a fun way to learn about investing and picking stocks? Luckily, there is!

I stumbled on this site a while ago when I was researching a stock. It has great free advice on investments from basics for beginners to advanced principals. I really like this site because the advice is well written, free, and their online community makes it fun and easy to learn. The site offers a cool online stock training program called CAPS where you can pick stocks at the current rate, add them to your portfolio and it will track your progress. You can even pick other members doing well and follow them, see their picks, and hear their reasons for choosing them.

You may not be ready to invest yet financially but don’t let that stop you from starting to educate yourself about it now. Try your hand at picking investment stocks and bonds and let CAPS keep track of it all for free while you learn and educate yourself on the subject. This way when you are ready to invest some money in stocks and other assets you will have a solid foundation of knowledge to base your decisions on! Start today and pick some stocks that you think will lead the economic recovery.
