In my pursuit of financial knowledge I have become fascinated with how people create wealth. I thought that there must be a secret to creating wealth. I started looking at wealthy people like Donald Trump and Bill Gates to see if there was a secret to how they created masses of wealth. There is a secret but it’s not what you might think.
In studying the most wealthy people I could find I found that their successes were spread across many industries and fields. What I began to realize was that I was looking at the picture all wrong. I was studying how these successful people managed wealth, not how they created it. The key to managing wealth is diversification. That is why we have rappers that own sports drink companies, real estate moguls starting their own clothing lines, and TV personalities with their own cookware lines. These are all ways of managing wealth through diversification. But how did they create wealth?
These successful business moguls all had one thing in common, they knew that the key to creating wealth is concentration. At the very core of every multimillionaire is someone who has concentrated on their goal and stuck with it until they were able to create the wealth they desired. They don’t just concentrate, they concentrate with precision and focus. They spend their time and energy doing what they do best and they find people to help them with the rest. This single trait of unwavering focus and concentration is a common thread that you can find in all successful people.
Concentration is the key to creating wealth and diversification is the key to maintaining it. That being said, set your goals and focus on what you are naturally good at. Keep concentrating on what you love and what you do best, and before you know it you will be diversifying all of the wealth that has come your way.
